Sift flour and [unreadable]. Heat milk to scalding in saucepan over low heat. Meanwhile measure sugar, salt, and shortening into a large bowl. Pour in hot milk, stir until ingredients dissolve. Then add cold water; mixture should be lukewarm. Add yeast, stir until dissolved. Blend half of sifted flour into mixture. Add beaten eggs, beat batter until smooth. Add remaining flour, stir until well mixed. Turn into large greased bowl, brush top lightly with shortening or salad oil. Cover with waxed paper and a cloth. Tie tightly. Store in refrigerator until ready to use. To make your rolls, shape dough into small balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place three balls in muffin cup, let rise for one hour and 30 minutes. Bake in 425° oven for 15 to 18 minutes.
