Bourbon Balls

• 8 ounces vanilla wafers, crushed
• 2 heaping tablespoons cocoa
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1/2 cup light corn syrup
• 1/4 cup bourbon whiskey
• Powdered sugar

In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients except the sugar. Mix thoroughly. Form into small balls about 3/4 to 1 inch in diameter. Roll in powdered sugar and store in a tightly covered container with wax paper between layers. This is one recipe you can double or triple without fear of failure. Makes 3 dozen, keeps indefinitely.
