Heavenly Meat Loaf

Add green pepper to ground beef; mix. Add egg and cracker crumbs; mix. Add 1/3 package of onion soup and 1/3 can of mushroom soup, season with pepper, and mix. Shape into loaf. Mix remaining soups together. Add 1/2 can water. Mix thoroughly; pour over loaf. Bake at 375° for 1 hour.

Variation: Shape into meatballs; brown on all sides in skillet. Pour remaining soup mixture over meatballs; cover. Bake at 350° for one hour. Serve with rice.
