Indian Corn Salad
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 1t pepper
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1t salt
- 1T water
Bring to a boil to dissolve sugar. Set aside to cool. Add
following in bowl:
- 1 (16 oz.) French Style green beans (drained)
- 1 (16 oz.) English peas (drained)
- 1 (12 oz.) Shoepeg
corn (drained)
- 1 (2 oz.) Pimientos (drained)
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
Pour liquid over vegetable mix and place in refrigerator overnight
or for 8 to 12 hours. Drain and serve.
