Deaf old lady calls, saying she bought our "system" (this turned out to be Norton). This lady had a dizzying list of things she wanted done, almost none of which were in scope. Set up fax machine? No. Set up wireless network? Not in scope of this service. She kept hitting on me. Yeah. And asking me "what belief" I am. Sure, I'll discuss that on a recorded call at work. She asked when I get off work. About an hour. "Can you get to me in an hour? *giggle*" Uh-huh. Wanted me to "set up AOL again". I never figured out what this meant. She has broadband anyway. This all sounded like it could have been QA playing mind games.

I doubt QA would take on the customer role to try to fool you and I think it's unethical to do so, just as it is for the police to try to coerce you to commit a crime. This is what can be seen as 'entertaining' or 'tedious'.. simply perspective, so try to enjoy the rides.
